A study was conducted to identify the pathogen of jujube black spot. The isolates were obtained from diseased jujube tissues with typical black spot symptoms by conventional tissue isolation method. The pathogenicity test was conducted and fulfilled by Koch's postulates. The pathogen was identified based on morphology characters and analysis of PCR amplification by the general primers of fungal conserved genes (ITS,GAPDH and EF-1α).All sequences were deposited into the NCBI database with the GenBank accession number:KU145270,KU145272 and KU145274.Taken together,we concluded that Alternaria tenuissima is the causing agent for the jujube black spot disease.
