摘要:
In September 2017 three noticeable seismic events occurred in the northern Korean Peninsula (Fig.1;Table 1).Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) authorities announced that the first M6.3 event on September 3rd was a "successfully conducted hydrogen-bomb test".The M4.6 event, some 8 min followed, was regarded as an implosion. However,it is still not clear whether the M3.4 event on September 23rd is an earthquake or a collapse (http://wemedia.ifeng.com/30848756/wemedia.shtml;Chen Huizhong,2017,WeChat communication,2017/09/23;Liu Jie,2017,ibid;Su Jinrong,2017,ibid;Peng Zhigang,2017,ibid;Zhao Lianfeng,2017,ibid).China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC) reported that this event was a "suspicious explosion" (http://www.cenc.ac.cn/cenc/dzxx/336221/index.html).
