<正>Dear Editor,Mansonella ozzardi,one of many filarial nematodes exclusively found in parts of Latin America,is one of two Mansonella sp which cause mansonelliasis,an infestation first described by Sir Patrick Manson,the founder of the field of tropical medicine[1-2].The third-stage larvae of this vector-borne human parasite is transmitted into its primary host,a human,by small blood-sucking arthropods namely,
