摘要

The discussion between IELTS Tests and PTE Tests are continuous among the scholars during the last few decades.Both of the tests are designed to test the language ability of the people who plan to go further study in English-speaking countries. As a result, in this paper, the author will compare and evaluate both tests in detail. The emphasis lies in the listening part.The validity and reliability of both tests will be explained. In the end, some possible suggestions to improve both tests will be demonstrated.
