摘要

Introduction:Since the reform and opening-up,China has successfully moved from the edge of the international system to the center of the world stage,and has realized a great historic leapfrog from a highly centralized planned economy to a dynamic socialist market economy,from seclusion and semi-seclusion to full opening.In this transitional process,China’s diplomacy has always upheld national sovereignty,security and development interests,and has made historic contributions to the success of reform and opening-up.The development course and successful experience of China’s diplomacy in the past 40-year reform and opening-up are of great enlightenment on exploring China’s diplomacy in the new era.
