摘要

Aimed at understanding the mechanism of the occurrence, development, and evolution of rainstorms and developing regional numerical prediction models in the south of China, the Guangzhou Institute of Tropical and Marine Meteorology of China Meteorological Administration (ITMM/CMA) and the Sate Key Laboratory of Severe Weather of the Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences (SKLSW/CAMS) jointly set up in 2014 the South China Cloud Physics and Heavy Rainfall Field Experiment Base.
