摘要

As interest in learning English is becoming more and more intense,many kindergartens regard children,s English education as a compulsory course.But the traditional teaching method is difficult for children who are just getting started with English.The traditional teaching method doesn’t work effectively because it can’t stimulate children’interest of English learning.This paper tries to apply TPR approach to English teaching.In this paper,the author takes Dandelion kindergarten in Shaanxi University of science and technology as an example,uses observational method,communicative approach and a variety of English Teaching Methods.It reveals that the T P R approach will be of great value in teaching preschool children English.Hopefully,this study will provide some inspiration for teacher's choice of teaching methods and help use the TPR approach more effectively.
