摘要

A water bearer （排水工） has two large pots. Hecarries them on a shouiderpole （扁担） , one ateach end. One of the pots has a crack in it, whilethe other pot is perfect and always filled up withwater. At the end of the long walk from the streamto the master＇s house, the cracked pot arrivesonly half full.
