摘要

The Drung,De’ang and Jino, three small ethnic groups “transiting directly from primitive society to socialism ,” have bid farewell to absolute poverty based on government poverty elimination work, Yunnan province recently announced. The three groups live in rugged, remote mountains in the province and have been the subject of a government campaign that takes as its motto,“Never leave one single ethnic group behind.”
