摘要

Jiangsu in the summertime boasts incredible scenery,with picturesque mountains,crystal clear waters,verdant trees,and blossoming flowers.In the lead-up to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,our research group took stock of how this beautiful province has developed and transformed over the past seven decades.We were truly amazed by our findings:accounting for just 1.1% of China's land area and 5.8%of its population,Jiangsu has produced more than 10% of the countrytotal economic output.In 2018,the GDP of Jiangsu reached 9.26 trillion yuan,with its per capita GDP ranking among the highest in the country.
