“In the past decade,the number of Chineselearning students in French primary schools,middle schools,and universities has increased manyfold.Chinese has become a popular second foreign language in France following Spanish,German,and Italian,”said Christian Lagarde,vice president of Université de Montpellier,at the 13th Confucius Institute Conference.
