摘要

China’s achievements in poverty reduction in recent years have been unprecedented.Official data shows China has lifted more than 700 million people out of poverty in the past four decades.From 2012 to 2018,the number of people living under the national poverty line(about US$436)dropped by more than 80 million to 16.6 million.
