摘要

On July 12, 2019, the United Nations Human Rights Council adopted the resolution entitled, The Contribution of Development to the Enjoyment of All Human Rights, which was proposed by China. The document stresses that delivering on the aspirations of the people for a better life should be the priority of all governments, and calls for countries to pursue people-oriented development – development that is driven by the people and benefits the people.
