Abstract In view of the problem of setting up the patrol airspace of the AEW in the antiair warfare of the important reefs,the model of the anterior distance of AEW is constructed. According to the principles and requirements of the airspace setting of AEW patrol,the problem of setting AEW in antiair warfare on reefs is studied in depth on the basis of calculating the minimum anterior distance and the maximum possible anterior distance of AEW. This paper puts forward the principle and method of optimization se?lectiono for setting up the patrol airspace of AEW,which can provide a theoretical basis and reference for the choice of the patrol air?space of AEW in the antair warfare of the important reefs.
