objective to explore the application value and significance of blood glucose control in ICU intensive care. Methods from Feb 2018 to Feb 2019, 90 patients in ICU were randomly divided into observation group and control group, and 45 patients in each group were divided into observation group and control group. Routine nursing was used in the control group and blood glucose control nursing was carried out in the observation group on the basis of the control group. The nursing effects of the two groups were compared. Results the scores of APACHE Ⅱ and SOFA in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the length of hospitalization of ICU was shorter than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The infection rate in the observation group was 2.22% lower than that in the control group. 0% (P < 0.05). Conclusion the control of blood glucose in severe care of ICU can reduce the incidence of infection, improve the therapeutic effect and ensure the life safety of patients.
