Speaking at a number of activities celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China(PRC)in 2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping reviewed China's glorious journey and tremendous achievements over seven decades of socialist development,and solemnly declared China's confidence in and commitment to the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Though 70 years is just a drop in the vast stream of history,this period has been hugely transformative for the Chinese people and the Chinese nation.
