摘要

The Derung people are one of China s 28 ethnic groups with relatively small populations.Residing primarily in Dulongjiang Township.Gongshan,Yunnan Province,their society was still quite primitive at the time of the PRC's founding.Dulongiang is located deep in the mountains amid unforgiving natural surroundings,and has always been one of the poorest regions in China.Thanks to vigorous efforts at targeted poverty alleviation carried out over recent years.
