The wind turbine control system and yaw mechanism have hysteresis problem, when the wind direction and wind speed frequently change, the wind wheel plane can not be accurately aligned to the direction of the wind, which will lead to yaw mechanism frequent action, increase the mechanical loss, and then affect the yaw mechanism life. Aiming at the above problems, an adaptive yaw control strategy based on Kalman filter is proposed in this paper to make the fan have strong self-adaptability, reduce yaw frequency and improve the accuracy of wind. Finally, through digital simulation and field data testing and verification, it fully demonstrates that the adaptive yaw control strategy based on Kalman filter described in this paper can significantly reduce yaw frequency, improve wind accuracy, increase power generation, and make the fan have a certain degree of self-adaptability.
