摘要

What is it?When people study the weather,it is called meteorology,and the people who do this are called meteorologists.Why is it important?If you can say what the weather will be like then you can plan a party in your garden on a day when there isn’t any rain!Three famous meteorologists Aristotle wrote a book about meteorology more than 2,350 years ago.Most people say he was the first meteorologist.His book was about the way water goes from the sea into the air,becomes rain and then rivers,and then goes to the sea again.This is called the‘water cycle’.
