摘要

Shangri-la city of Dechen Tibetan Autonom ous Prefecture in Yunnan Province is known for its rich and colorful ethnic culture.In May of the lunar calendar,when flowers are blooming everywhere,Shangri-la welcomes its grand traditional event,the horse racing festival.As one of the most important annual celebrations in Shangri-la and a time-honored sporting event,the horse racing festival is held dear by the locals.
