摘要

To mark the 70th anniversary of China-Myanmar diplomatic relations,President Xi Jinping made a state visit to Myanmar on January 17 and 18 upon an invitation from Myanmar’s President U Win Myint.It was President Xi Jinping’s first overseas trip in 2020,reflecting the importance China attaches to the“pauk-phaw”friendship shared by the two countries.Experts from both countries called the visit a milestone for the China-Myanmar relationship.
