Science and technology as the primary productive force In 1988, with the consideration of China's national conditions, Comrade Deng Xiaoping putforward the important assertion that "science and technology as the primary productive forces" on the basis of Marxism. That "science and technology as the primary productive forces" is mainly manifested in thegreat impetus of science and technology to innovation.In the face of increasingly fierce international competition, scientific and technological innovation is the driving force and source of scientific and technological development.Only through continuous scientific and technological innovation can we remain invincible in the fierce international competition.In order to make "science and technology as the primary productive forces", the first thing is to establish scientific thinking and make innovation with the scientific thinking.When enterprises are in the plight of slow development, innovation comes as the fundamental way to break through the bottleneck of their own development and solve the deep-seated contradictions and problems.
