The Sichuan Basin is rich in natural gas resources, and the most abundant of these natural gas resources is a kind ofnatural gas containing sulfuric acid.Therefore, in addition to the exploration and development of natural gas resources in the Sichuan Basin, the Sichuan-Chongqing Petroleum People have another task, which is natural gas desulfurization. Desulfurization of natural gas sounds simple, but it is very complicated. Natural gas desulfurization, also known as natural gas purification, is to remove organic sulfur compoundsand acid gases such as sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide that are often contained in natural gas.Because these acid gases will corrode pipelines and equipment, and at the same time they do not meet the requirements of chemical raw materials,they must be removed and the sulfur-containing compounds extracted are used to produce sulfur.
