Introduction to the Middle-Lower Yangtze River Valley Metallogenic Belt
The Middle-Lower Yangtze River Valley metallogenic belt (MLYB) has been a cradle of modern metallogeny in China. In the MLYB, there are numerous stratabound sulfide deposits and polymetallic skarn-porphyry and magnetite-apatite deposits, together constituting a significant mineralogic exploration belt on the northern margin of the Yangtze craton.
