AFTER the outbreak of the novel coronavirus epidemic in early 2020,many foreigners living in China wrote down their own experiences and shared their thoughts that have become so common during this traumatic time:responsibility,trust,and love.Some of these foreigners chose to stay in China when the epidemic began to rage in the country.What was it that motivated their choices?When asked by their families or the media,what would they say?How did they occupy their time during this difficult period?
