In the latest decade, China has experienced frequent fine particle pollution (aerodynamic diameters ≤ 2.5 μm, PM2.5), and over one million Chinese people die per year due to air pollution events [1].Notably, a long-lasting haze event that occurred in January 2013 affected more than 50% population of China [2], which thus received much health concern from the public.Secondary inorganic sulfate aerosol has been well characterized as a principal constituent in the collected fine particulate matter during air pollution events and it can cause adverse effects on human health and environmental issue through acid deposition.
