ON June 22,Chinese President Xi Jinping spoke via video with President of the European Council Charles Michel and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.This was the first official meeting between Chinese leadership and the new EU leadership.It is of major diplomatic significance to make China-EU relations more stable and mature in the“post-epidemic era”and to take them to a higher level.
