Traditional medicine is the valuable resource for global health

摘要

The dramatic changes brought about by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic have prompted us to reassess the cur-rent global healthcare system. As we seek to identify solutions and formulate a vaccine, it is also an opportune time to consider re-sources that are already accessible, namely traditional medicine with a long history in dealing with contagious diseases. In this respect, Chinese medicine, with its millennia-old un-interrupted history of country-wide practice offers valuable tools.
