摘要

With his conquered territories firmly under his control,Songtsen Gampo decided that a more central location was needed for his capital, his old Yarlung home was remote,and Maizhokunggar was too small.He chose the Red Hill beside Kyichu(Lhasa River),and so the royal city of Rasa(later called Lhasa) was built.
