In today's world, the use of data is omnipresent on a global scale,embedded in the very fabric of our daily lives, driving social changes in ways that often escape our perception.1 People are eager to solve problems, improve their well-being, and generate economic prosperity through the use of data.2 As data has become more and more central as a resource in contemporary society, data governance is becoming a crucial topic worldwide.
