Since 2020,achieving peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality has been a hot topic in the global media.Many countries and international companies have put forward the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by the middle of this century,and are starting to formulate specific implementation paths to promote the achievement of this goal.At the same time,international cooperation on carbon emission reduction has become an important topic for international leaders'meetings and summits.In this context,how to make full use of the platform of the Belt and Road Initiative,incorporate carbon emission reduction into the scope of cooperation,establish a cooperation mechanism and work to effectively reduce the carbon emission intensity of the economic and social development of countries along the route will be of great significance for the implementation of the green development advocated by the Belt and Road Initiative.
