Basic situation of natural gas infrastructure construction during the"13th Five-year Plan"period After rapid construction during the"13th Five-year Plan"period,the guarantee capacity of natural gas storage and transportation facilities in China has been continuously improved.In 2015,China had 64,000 km of long-distance natural gas pipelines,which was increased to 89,000 km in 2020,with an average annual growth rate of 6.6％during the"13th Five-year Plan"period.In 2020,the primary transportation capacity reached 360 billion m3 per year.China has built four strategic natural gas import channels-northwest,southwest,northeast and offshore-and a pipeline network structure with"three vertical and three horizontal pipelines",and formed a backbone natural gas pipeline network spanning the east and west,running through the north and south,and connecting overseas region.
