摘要

The year 2020 is extraordinary for everyone due to Covid-19 pandemic.It is also the third year since the dramatic reform of Chinese Journal of Chemistry(CJC)started in 2017.Due to the much improved acceptance standard and the corresponding re-jection rate,the number of submissions to CJC in previous years decreased year by year.But in 2020,we received～700 submis-sions from all over the world,an increase of～26％compared with 2019(Figure 1).As a result of increase in contributions and their quality,more papers were published in 2020:230 manuscripts were published in 1916 pages,a big jump of 46％and 47％from 2019,respectively(Figure 2).The overall usage of CJC increased by 15.5％(2019)despite a similar number of published articles to 2018.The impact factor for 2019 has reached 3.826 and is ex-pected to grow(Figure 3).
