Objective
The widely-distributed reformed basins in China are currently major areas for oil and gas exploration.Post-stage tectonic movement of modified basins often plays an important role in controlling petroleum accumulation, migration and distribution(Liu and Yang,2000).The petroliferous Carboniferous-Permian Yingen-Ejinaqi Basin is located in the junction area between the North China Craton and the Central Asian Orogenic Belt(Fig.la),which has experienced multiple tectonic reformation events since the late Paleozoic.Limited by a lack of sedimentary records and harsh natural conditions, the timing and duration of the tectonic reformation events remain unclear. In this study,we performed detrital apatite fission-track(AFT)and zircon U-Pb(ZUPb)chronology,in order to investigate the reformation processes of the eastern Yingen-Ejinaqi Basin. This study benefits the understanding of tectonothermal history for further petroleum exploration in the Yingen-Ejinaqi Basin.
