Huntington's disease (HD) is an inherited autosomal dominant neurodegenerative disorder characterized by the development of adult-onset motor dysfunction, psychiatric disturbances and intellectual decline. HD is associated with an expansion of CAG repeat sequence in the huntingtin gene (Htt).
