摘要

In mainland China, college English course is a compulsory course for university students, which makes a great contribution to the improvement of English for the university students over the past 20 years. On the contrary, in Hong Kong, although English enhancement course can be given as an elective course in the universities, the universities utilize full-English teaching model for students as a main key to enhance students' English level. With an increasing popularity of studying in Hong Kong, the differences of the college English teaching in mainland China and universities' full-English teaching in Hong Kong are more obvious.
