To Be or Not To Be-A Critical Year for Chinese Journal of Chemistry

摘要

The impact factor of Chinese Journal of Chemistry (CJC) for 2020 has reached 6.0 with a total citation of 5434,a decent im-provement as compared to those for the previous years (Figure 1).It ranks No.48 among 178 journals of multidisciplinary chemistry in the world.We have been receiving more submissions in recent years,and 845 submissions have been received as of November 18,2021 (Figure 2).The quality of the submissions has also been improving steadily,resulting in a rapid increase in publication:397 manuscripts were published in 2021,an increase of ～73％ com-pared with that for 2020 (Figure 2).
