摘要

The year 2022 marks the 40th anniversary of the Chinese Journal of Polymer Science (CJPS)-a true milestone to be celebrated!In the early stage of the reform and opening,there was an increasing demand for international acade-mic communications.To facilitate these communications,the editorial board of the original Chinese version (now known as Acta Polymerica Sinica,launched in 1957) pro-posed publishing an English version of the journal en-titled Polymer Communications.
