Metal nanoclusters have attracted much attention due to their ultra-small size and unique properties.The integration of protein or peptide can bring a synergistic effect on the physicochemical and physiological properties of metal clusters.Metal nanoclusters protected by peptides or proteins ex-hibit excellent biocompatibility and better disease therapeutic effects.We focus on developing new metal nanoclusters and exploring their therapeu-tic mechanism,including inhibiting enzyme activity,mitochondrial dysfunction,DNA strand break,and block of the signal pathway.
