摘要

Both Chinese and foreigners who are Concerned about English instruction in Chinese schools frequently ask how English is being taught in the schools today.Though it is currently impossible to give a fully satisfactory answer. The question demands at least a tentative and qualified answer. I have taught Enghish in middle school for about over ten yeas and been in charge of the English teaching research group of chaoyang city, and now I am teaching methodology of teaching English in ChaoYang Teacher's College.
