【正】 The first object one sees as one en ters the reception of the Swiss embassy in Beijing is a semi-psychedelic plastic cow with a clock attached to either side. What does it mean. the visitor wonders. Could it be an allusion to the fact that it was a Swiss company - Nestle -that played a major role in developing China’s dairy industry? Who knows?
