I'm very glad that the Symposium on InternationalSecurity cosponsored by the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPCCC),the Chinese Association for International Understanding (CAFIU) and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES), is held in Beijing. Here, I'd like to extend my warmest welcome to the Chinese and foreign experts, scholars and friends present here and thank you for your enthusiastic support for this Symposium.
