从属连词that和关系代词that的省略

摘要

引导名词性从句、状语从句的从属连词 that和引导定语从句的关 系代词 that有时可以省略。本文就此作一个小结。 一、在名词性从句中,that的省略。 that在名词性从句中没有词义,不充当句子成分,只起连接作用。 能否省略 that应视句子结构而定。具体有以下三种情况。 1.如果连词 that引导的主语从句位于句首,则 that不可省略;如果句中含有形式主语 it,则其后的主语从句前面可以没有 that。例如: ① That he will come is certain. ② Its true (that)he s French. ③ Its a pity (that)you missed such a fine talk. 2.引导宾语从句的 that有时可以省略,有时不可以省略。 ① that引导宾语从句并在从句中作谓语动词的宾语时常被省略。 例如: The doctor said (that)there w as som ething wrong w ith m y right eye. ② 句中含有形式宾语 it时,引导真正宾语从句的 that不可省略。 例如: I found itstrang...
