Editor's Note: The staff at China Today experienced pinnacles of joy and sorrow in the four weeks between April 20 and May 26,2005, On Apd120 we happily celebrated our beloved Editor-in-Chief Emeritus Israel Epstein's 90th birthday and on May 26, grieved at the sad news of his death.
