摘要

History The sport of badminton has been played in one form or another for over 2000 years. It has evolved1 from the ancient game of battledore and shuttlecock2, which was first played in China, Japan and India, the battledore being a paddle3 and the shuttlecock a small feathered cork4, now usually called a "bird."
