<正>A groaning bulldozer shat- tered the stillness of Sh- uangcheng one day in 1987 as the ground was broken on the first Si no-foreign joint venture in Harbin, Northeast China. By 2004 Nestle Shuang-cheng had turned in RMB 327 million in taxes, and the old county town had established an economic structure based on agriculture, animal husbandry, processing and trade.
