<正>Located in the southwest of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and covering an area of 86,700 sq km, Ordos is one of the most primitive lands on earth. It has historical relics from all of China's imperial dynasties. The Great Wall of the Qin Dynasty, Tong Wan City of theWestern Xia (Tangut) Kingdom (1038-1227), and the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan are just a few of the most impressive examples. Its natural characteristics, such as the Hobq and Mu Us Desert also attract droves of adventure-seeking tourists. The mysterious Singing Sand Ravine and the Engbei Oasis are the hottest tourist attractions.
