【正】Rabindranath Tagore was a great Indian writer,one of the founders of modern Indian literature,a Nobel Laureate in literature,a great internationalist and a very close friend of the Chinese people.He loved China,admired Chinese culture and showed great concern for the fate of the Chinese people.He was born on May 7,1861 and died of illness on August 7,1941.It is of great significance that we commemorate him on his birthday today.
