摘要

In our daily life,when we use color to describe feelings,we often use their associative meanings rather than literal meanings.Therefore,knowing the differences and similarities of color symbolism in both Chinese and English is necessary,because it not only increases our knowledge but also helps us understand different cultures.This paper uses yellow and red to compare and contrast the color symbolism between the Chinese and English language.
