摘要

Health ecotourism is an emerging form of tourism industry. Selenium is an essential nutrient in delaying aging,has signifi cant therapeutic effect on various diseases. Enshi Prefecture in Hubei Province enjoys a reputation of the "World Selenium Capital",is a region of high-concentration negative oxygen ion and livable climate. The prefecture has unique regional advantages with selenium-enriched wellness ecotourism. Through introducing selenium-enriched tourism resources,ecotourism resources and health tourism resources in the World Selenium Capital,this paper analyses the development countermeasures for the selenium-enriched wellness ecotourism,and puts forward constructive suggestions.
